The Contessa
The Contessa is absolutely my new favorite dress. In crisp hemp/linen or 100% cotton, it wears so well–breathable, flattering and comfortable. I wore it New Year’s Eve and I paired it with a wonderful flower crown from Adorn an enchanting new store in downtown Christiansted that is supporting a number of local craftspeople and artists (like me!) and carry an amazing array of items. So many people commented on it and I was so proud to tell them it was one of my original Island Contessa designs. After the holidays and, as we in the islands, move into high season, comfortable, flattering clothes are an important staple for the parties that continue here. This is a limited edition design.
