January and Beach Palazzo Pants

 Right now, if you are stateside in the US, it is very likely that you are in the middle of another round of the polar vortex.  Unfortunately, very common this time of year.  My friends are perpetually wailing to me about the beautiful pictures I send of beaches and white sand and crystal blue water when they’re staring at white snow and dangerous ice.  I get it.  But here’s the thing.  Even in the Caribbean, we have our version of cold (albeit a lesser one).  Which brings me to Beach Bingo Palazzo pants (you wondered where I was going with this, didn’t you?).  This time of year, here in St. Croix, the Christmas winds have arrived and the air and water is much, much cooler.  For us, year-rounders, it is quite a shift.  My palazzo pants are a hit for many locals who travel because they are comfortable and they travel so well! But this time of the year, they’re an even bigger hit because they are PANTS and they can keep you warmer in this cooler weather.  State-sider or islander, they’re a good transition garment and since they are made of a FABULOUS hemp/cotton, they wear well and wash well. We’ve got them two ways–rainbow stripe or slate blue.  Either way, you’ll love them!
