When we launched Island Contessa, we made a commitment that we didn’t just want to dress women and make them look good, we wanted to make them feel good about wearing our line. This week we sent out checks to a number of shelters as part of this original commitment. You see, Island Contessa provides financial support in the communities where we have a presence. Right now, its not huge, but as our business grows, we hope to grow that contribution as well. You see helping other women is part of what we want to do as a business. Just like we want to be Made in America, bettering our community is who we are. What we want to be. Making a difference, even a small one isn’t a hard thing to do.
